I have many passions, though the ocean is my #1. I've been scuba diving since 1975. I like most any scuba activity(Carving Pumpkins underwater was unique, lol!) and I do enjoy spearfishing. I also enjoy hunting, however, I prefer diving most. I consider myself a conservationist and respect the environments of land and sea. I have other interests and would like to find a friend, or more, where it concerns similar interests. If you have nothing in common, you're simply leading separate lives. I am semi-retired, and back in college pursuing new professional interests. I was raised in the panhandle of Florida, which is still one of my most favorite places. We can chat about the rest later. NOTE: Also, as a consideration, if you or a friend needs a dive partner and it fits my schedule, that is indeed of interest to me. Over the years I understand if one of a group of 4 suddenly cannot make it, it could ruin a trip. I am also comfortable doing solo dives, comes with the territory when you enjoy spearfishing. So if you need someone topside while you and your partner dive, I'm open and willing to help.
Describe the kind of person you would like to meet.
I believe that when two people have the same passions and interests it makes life itself passionate.

My most exciting/scariest diving story
Too many experiences I could mention, but swimming with hump backs was very cool. Every time I swim with pods of dolphins is an experience that is always great. The only scary experience I've had was when I was first certified and had an aggressive shark
